I really didn’t write much or spend that much time writing any blogs before I decided to take a month off, but, I did it anyways. PHATO Productions Blog is back up and in action so, sorry about the lack of posts, and be sure to keep checking back as I praise, bash, and review the technology industry.

Just thought I should point out that over at the Adobe Labs you can now download a public preview of Premiere Pro CS3, After Effects CS3, and Soundbooth CS3. I don’t know about all of you, but I have been waiting for a Universal version of Premiere and After Effects for a long time now. I believe these products will be released in Q3 of 2007, but at least we can try these babies out for now.

Hello to all my 1 readers out there (myself). I decided that I would start writing again and here is my first post after about 6-7 months (not that I had very many before that).
A few of the things I will be covering in the next few post are things I have learned since my leave of absence. These things are going to mostly contain information about the Mac OS along with my opinion of Vista, some programming things I have learned (PHP, AJAX, Javascript) and some sites that I have worked on, including upcoming projects.
These posts are just to get everyone (once again, only myself) up to speed with the knowledge I have obtained over the past half year. I hope you enjoy!
Today, I have given my company’s website a facelift. The site has been neglected for so long due to lack of time (that’s the thing with web designers, always working on other people’s sites, never enough time for their own). The site still has the same content, just looks better (and sounds better). I will continue to work on the site in the next few months and hopefully I will have a finished product by the first of the year.
The site will feature all of my work and will allow users to sign up for the site. If you are a user of this blog, you will automatically have access to the site. The reason for allowing users is there will be a rich user interface and users will have access to all of the applications I build, right from within the phatoproductions.com website. The purpose of the site will not only be to showcase my work, but to build a rich user environment that will create a community of users that will have a place to go to access personal information as well as keep up to date on things going on in the tech and design worlds.

Well, after a little work I got the Address Book integrated into the PHATO Productions Suite, so it is the new home for the PPS Address Book. No new functionality has been added and there still is no registration, but you can login and try it out by using guest for both the username and password.
The PHATO Productions Suite is a ongoing project that continues to grow with new applications. The project is based heavily on AJAX, PHP, and MySQL. The list of applications that the PHATO Productions Suite will contain are listed on the right side of the home page. the expected release date for each application is next to the applications name and as new applications are released they will get green lighted. The applications will continue to be built over time and will not be limited to the list below but the applications currently in planning and development are:
